While still enrolled in high school, I started college at Delaware Technical and Community College, a local community college in Georgetown, Delaware. It was there that I took an interest in Computer Information Systems and Programming. During my freshman year, my parents made the decision to move to the state of Tennessee. This caused my life to take a different route and it would be some time before I would be able to pursue academics once again.
After a few years, I made the choice to return to school and further my education by enrolling at South College, a small private college in Knoxville, Tennessee. This gave me the opportunity to explore the field of Health Science, a field in which I am still very fascinated. Due to personal reasons, I left the Healthcare field in pursuit of a different career path. After reviewing other local colleges and researching the different majors available, the University of Tennessee offered the best opportunity and coursework for my passion and intellectual growth.
I graduated in 2016 from the Haslam College of Business in Knoxville, where I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management. Through the coursework, I learned new things like R programming, data mining, supply chain optimization, product sourcing and manufacturing, and Information Management.
It may seem that my life is full, yet I still find the time to enjoy simple things such as family, food, and fitness. With the support of my amazing wife, who provides compassion and guidance to me while I juggle the ups and downs of my busy life, I push forward towards improving our future. The world is a big place and I love learning new things and meeting new people. The future is exciting and I am looking forward to everything it has to offer.
