I have finished with Phase 1 of Stoppani’s Shortcut To Size and have since moved onto Phase 2. The first week has me back doing 12-15 reps of each exercise once more. This has proven to be challenging on some exercises ,given that I have tried to increase the initial weight by at least 20 lbs (9.07 kg) on each exercise. I have felt some crazy pumps in only the first two days of the phase and am looking forward to reaching the following exercise days to come.
My equipment is still holding me back, the weight carriage of my lat bar adds an unwanted resistance each time it is used. It has made 20 lbs feel like 50, and 50 feel like 100. The resistance cables I have do not even feel like the weight they claim to be (they seem a lot lighter). I am trying new and inventive ways to compensate for what I can.
