After being out of school since the summer of ’98 and only briefly attending a few computer classes at Delaware Technical & Community College, this has been well overdue. As of this afternoon at 4:45 PM, I am officially attending South College, where I will be spending the next four years of life in pursuit of my Bachelor of Science in Health Science (an odd way to say that).
It has been a long time since I sat inside a classroom, unless you count a phlebotomy course, to take notes and do homework. Unlike many years in the past, I am confident that I will do much better in my studies this time around. I have matured, a little, and am doing all this of my own choosing.
Funny how it only took thirteen years and a few minimum wage jobs to actually convince myself it was time to do so. I might be broke for a while trying to juggle all this, especially with certain loans that they were nice enough to dispense in my favor. However, in the end I am quite certain it will all be worth it to actually have something I can be damn proud of.
